How Bingo Card Maker handles data

Bingo Card Maker uses the words, numbers and names you enter to generate bingo cards, call lists, cut slips and random groups. This policy describes the extension's saved records, its export actions, and the external services used by its welcome page and feedback links.

Inputs and exports

Lists you enter: the open workspace holds your current input. Use Save list to retain a list for a later session. Typing or pasting an unsaved list does not create a saved-list record.
Lists you save: each record includes an id, a list name, its items and its creation time. A list can include personal information, such as the names of people you enter.
Cards and groups: the extension generates these results from the input and a random seed. A reprint record is created when a generated card set matches a saved list. It contains the seed, card settings, list id and generator version, rather than the generated cards.
Export actions: Download PDF creates a PDF download. Print passes the rendered output to Chrome's print dialog. Group output can be copied to the clipboard, downloaded as CSV or printed. Chrome and the destination you choose determine how a download or print job is handled.

Extension storage

The extension uses Chrome extension storage with these keys:

bingoCardMaker.v1: saved lists, the last reprint record, remembered controls, an export counter and an optional rating-prompt record. Controls include grid size, free space, shuffle mode, card count, cards per page, paper, ink saver, theme, font, card title, call list, cut slips and group/CSV preferences.
bingoCardMakerRatePrompt: rating-prompt timestamps and the fact that the prompt was answered or dismissed. The product also mirrors rating state in the main preferences record.

The workspace can show its rating prompt after two successful PDF exports in a session, provided a previous prompt has not been recorded. Answering or dismissing it is recorded to suppress later prompts.

External pages and requests

Welcome-page measurement: opening the packaged welcome page requests a 1 × 1 analytics image, a page-view counter, from the measurement service. The request carries a fixed page label that identifies this product's welcome page. The receiving service sees the network address and the HTTP headers the browser supplies, and can record the request time. Depending on browser settings and the service response, cookies for the service's domain may be sent or set. Reloading the page can produce another request; this measures page loads rather than a verified count of unique installations.
Privacy page: this page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Visiting it sends a web request to that hosting service. Its contact section points to the goodbye page on this site.

Feedback, removal and reviews

The rating prompt routes one, two or three stars to the optional rating page on this site, which opens in a new browser tab, and four or five stars to this extension's Chrome Web Store reviews page once the store item has been configured. Until then, the reviews action displays an unavailable status. Choosing a star is a navigation choice; it does not itself publish a store review.

If you send optional feedback after a low rating, or from the page that opens after you remove the extension, we receive the reason you picked, any comment you typed, the extension version, and the interface language. We do not collect your email, your name, an install identifier, or your IP address. Comments are delivered to us through Telegram so we can read them. Submissions without a comment are stored only as counts. We do not sell this information.

The Chrome Web Store has its own data handling and account settings. Review the destination page before submitting information. The extension retains the selected feedback or reviews branch in the rating record described above.

Retention and deletion

Saved lists: retained until you delete them or remove the extension. Up to 50 lists can be saved; an additional save is refused.
Last reprint record: replaced by a later generated set that matches a saved list. Deleting the referenced list removes the reprint link; its seed and settings remain until replaced or the extension is removed. Removing the extension also removes its extension-storage records.
Remembered controls and rating state: retained in extension storage until changed or removed with the extension.
Unsaved workspace input and group results: held by the open workspace. Save or export the information you intend to keep before closing that workspace.
Exports: downloaded PDFs and CSVs, copied text and printed output are separate from extension storage. Deleting a saved list or removing the extension does not delete those copies.

Removal of the extension does not retract requests already made to the measurement service or this page's hosting service, or delete feedback comments already delivered. Contact the publisher through the rating page or the goodbye page described above.

Permissions and execution

The extension requests the storage permission for the records described above. Card generation uses the packaged code and font assets; PDF generation runs in an extension worker. Browser profile access, clipboard contents, downloaded files and print destinations have their own access controls.

Privacy questions and requests

Send questions about the publisher's handling of feedback records, analytics records or requests under applicable privacy law through the optional rating page or the goodbye page described above; a comment sent there reaches the publisher. For downloaded files, use the file controls on your computer. For information held by a destination service, that service's request process may also apply. Saved-list deletion and export deletion are separate actions, as described above.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
